Crucified With Christ

I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me. Galatians 2:20 (KJV)

The apostle Paul has the consciousness of being crucified with Christ. He came to the point of believing that it was Christ Jesus who was living in him and doing the work that he did. He came to the point of denying self. Jesus Christ said that if we do not deny self and follow Him, we cannot inherit the kingdom of heaven. The apostle Paul is a typical example of a person who denied himself, and took up the cross and followed Jesus. As Christians, we are to do the same: we must crucify all our selfish desires and carry the cross of Christ Jesus and live for Him. Dear reader, who do you live for? Share your thoughts here!
