Although the plan of God for man from the beginning is not for man to die, however, He is delighted in another kind of death; that is, the death of His saints. He is delighted because when the saint vacates the body on earth he will be present with Him in heaven. This scripture should be a relief to those Christians who are afraid to die. Instead of the fear of death which Christ Jesus delivered us from, they should work for the Lord with all zeal and diligence; knowing that when they sleep (die) they will be present with the Lord Jesus Christ in heaven.
