Learning To Save

There is treasure to be desired and oil in the dwelling of the wise; but a foolish man spendeth it up. Proverbs 21:20 (KJV)

The scripture above gives a distinction between the wise and the foolish; it gives one quality of the wise which the fool despises. This quality is the ability to save. The wise have a consistent habit of saving a portion of what they earn but fools have a habit of spending everything they earn. Even when fools are bequeathed treasures they squander them even to the extent of squandering what is not theirs. Dear reader, do you save part of your earnings? Share your thoughts here!
