If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him? Matthew 7:11 (KJV)
Jesus Christ is indeed God; He could discern the mind of His audience and made the remarkable statement above. He said God, our Father, is able to give us much more than what we give our children. This should encourage someone to pray without ceasing. We should never doubt God because Jesus has given us a scripture to the effect that God is ever willing to give us what He has promised in His Word. Jesus Christ has also revealed by the scripture above that God only gives good things to His children.
