Sin No More

Afterward Jesus findeth him in the temple, and said unto him, Behold, thou art made whole: sin no more, lest a worse thing come unto thee. John 5:14 (KJV)

The man in question was paralyzed for thirty-eight years. Jesus healed him and left him, but after some time met him in the temple. This man came to the temple to express his appreciation to the almighty God. When Jesus met him again He gave him counsel about his condition. This explains why follow-up is necessary after winning a soul for Christ. This man became paralyzed because of sin, therefore Jesus Christ counseled him to refrain from sin or suffer something worse. Is it possible to sin no more? Absolutely, because with God all things are possible (Matthew 19:26). Beloved, sin is a destructive weapon of the devil against the saints, so refrain from sin and learn to give thanks to Jesus Christ for whatever He does for you.
