Teaching children

And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up. Deuteronomy 6:7 (KJV)

The Almighty God instructed the leaders of Israel to teach His commandments, statutes, and judgments to their children. Every husband was to make sure their children were taught God’s commandments, statutes, and judgments. Their conversation should be full of them when they sit, walk, lie down, and rise. God told them to pass on these laws from one generation to the next. He did not want them forgotten. Today God wants us to do the same to His Word; He wants us to meditate on it day and night and observe it in practice. He also wants us to pass it on from one generation to the next. Dear reader, can God count on you to pass on His word to the next generation? Share your thoughts here!
