What Is The Good News

But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. Isaiah 53:5 (KJV)

The good news was derived from the finished work of Christ on the cross of Calvary. Jesus who knew no sin was wounded for our transgressions, bruised for our wickedness, and the punishment we deserved was laid on him; and he gave us healing by his stripes. This is the kind of good news Christ Jesus brought to mankind. He did all the work for us to receive the reward; all we need to do is to just believe and be a partaker of the blessings. Those who do not believe the good news will have themselves to blame in hell, since they want to pay for their own sins in hell. If man could pay for his sins Jesus would not have come. Dear reader, the choice is now yours; either you believe in the gospel and partake the blessings or reject it and suffer the consequences. Share your comments here!
