The earth is the LORD’s, and the fullness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein. Psalms 24:1 (KJV)
Do you know that everything you have belongs to God? Do you know that you as a person belong to God? Well, the opening scripture points to us four major things that remain God’s heritage: the earth, things on earth, the world, and the living things on earth. From these four things mentioned by the scripture one could recognize that everything we own and our very person belong to Jesus Christ, Colossians 1:16-17. Where is the boasting then? No wonder Jesus said it will not profit a man if he gains the whole world and loses his soul. If you are reading this article and you are not born again, it is time to give you life/soul to Jesus Christ. Your properties cannot save you; your wealth cannot save you; your intellect cannot save you; in fact all these belong to God any way! Let the name of the Lord be praise!
