2 Timothy 1:7 God did not give us a spirit that makes us afraid but a spirit of power and love and self-control.
Some Bible verses use fear. This tells us that God has not given us any Spirit that causes us to fear. Fear is not from God but from the devil. The Spirit of God brings power, love and self-control.
If you want to walk in power, learn to love and if you want to have self-control, lean on the Spirit of God.
Father in heaven, thank You for giving me power, love, and a sound mind. I open my heart to You and receive Your perfect love. Fill me with Your confidence and assurance to embrace everything You have for me. In Jesus’ Name. Amen. II Timothy 1:7
