2 Corinthians 10:5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ.
The Bible tells us to cast down any imagination that exalts itself against any knowledge of God. This tell us that any thing that comes to mind is not always from God. When the thought is not edifying or does not lead us closer to God, then there is a problem. Here is how to pray 2 Corinthians 10:5
Father, thank You for empowering me to live in victory today. I choose to take my life back by taking captive every thought and submitting it to You. Help me live a life that is pleasing to You, Jesus, today and every day in Jesus’ name, Amen. 2 Corinthians 10:5
