A different Spirit In Us

Bless them which persecute you: bless, and curse not. Romans 12:14 (KJV)

The world believes in a tooth for a tooth and an eye for an eye; this means that the world believes in vengeance. However, the Christian is of a different Spirit; he is born into the light of God which believes in forgiveness. The Christian is blessed and has been made to be a blessing, Ephesians 1:3. Therefore cursing or to utter curses is not the nature of Christ and hence not the nature of the Christian. The Christian must live according to his/her nature. Jesus Christ acknowledged that we will be persecuted just as he was persecuted. All the persecutions are all training tools to build our faith; therefore, instead of cursing our persecutors we must bless them and rejoice to share in the sufferings of Christ. Dear beloved, are you being persecuted in any way? What are you doing to overcome it? Share your thoughts here!
