How to Pray for Repentance from Ephesians 4:21-24

Eph 4:21-24

Since you have heard about Jesus and have learned the truth that comes from him, throw off your old sinful nature and your former way of life, which is corrupted by lust and deception. Instead, let the Spirit renew your thoughts and attitudes. Put on your new nature, created to be like God—truly righteous and holy.

Heavenly Father, I thank You for you have created me anew in Christ to be like You – righteous and holy. I am no longer the man I used to be for You have already transformed my mind and heart into Christ likeness.  My past no longer defines me; my weaknesses no longer defines me; but I am defined by Your love, Your grace, Your mercy and kindness through Your Son Jesus Christ. I am worth the blood of Your only Begotten Son. Thank You God because this is who I really am in Christ Jesus. And even though I have many weaknesses, I boast of Your strength and power that works best in my weaknesses.  I strip off every thoughts and emotions that says I need to do more, that I am weak, that I need to be accepted and loved. The truth is Christ has already done it all for me and I am already loved and accepted by my Father in heaven. Thank You God and I praise You for Your goodness and kindness in Jesus’ name. Amen.
