This world of media portrayal that we live in today causes a great deal of confusion to many young girls due to the different world views, mindsets and cultural norms the media is seeking to influence. The world pressures girls to become someone they are not, convincing them that their value and identity are placed in material wealth, physical beauty, talents and skills, and so on. They are told that without becoming like them, life will be hard, as the media relays the message that you’re not qualified, have no value, or are useless. All of these are lies of the enemy, but many people in the world believe such lies.
All the glory and praise to our God, who has called you into His kingdom and granted you eternal life due to your faith in Jesus Christ. You are reading this post right now because that is the fruit of your salvation and you wanted to impart such faith to your daughter by praying for her.
Don’t worry about your little girl. God is faithful in bringing up and protecting His children from the world. Pray that your little girl comes to know her true purpose and identity, which lies in Christ Jesus alone. Declare 1 Peter 2:9 upon her, so that she belongs to a chosen generation, a royal priesthood and God’s special person who he called out of darkness to bask in His marvelous light. Your little girl is blessed because she has a godly parent with the power and authority to raise her up in a godly way, and show her what heavenly culture is, in comparison to the superficial world. You have the power to release and impart such wisdom to your little girl. God’s anointing is upon you to raise up a mighty generation, and it starts with your daughter
