The Lord is good, a strong hold in the day of trouble; and he knoweth them that trust in him. Nahum 1:7 (KJV)
Everybody who comes into contact with God and makes a conscious effort to know him arrives at prophet Nahum’s conclusion: truly indeed the LORD is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble, and knows those who trust him. Jesus Christ in his ministry on earth met a young ruler who called him good master. In order not to draw attention to himself, he asked the ruler not to call him good for there is only one who is good, God, Matthew 19:16-17. Dear beloved, how close are you with the LORD? Have you enjoyed his goodness? Trust the LORD and get closer to him and you will also testify that He is good, and a stronghold in the day of trouble. Share your comments here!
