The kind of person you run to in times of need will determine the kind of help you will receive. Some people put their trust in their position only to realize that their position has been given to someone else. Others put their faith in people only to hear that such people are no more, and then their hope is dashed. The psalmist was wise enough to put his faith in the Word of God. In times of heaviness in his soul, he ran to the Holy Scriptures for strength. Dear beloved, learn from the psalmist, and occupy your soul with the Word of God. Let the Holy Scriptures take over your mind and your thinking processes. Only then will you find strength and enablement to make wise decisions and good choices for a fulfilling life. Hallelujah!
