Jesus Christ assured His disciples that as long as He lived, they would live also. After Jesus Christ had ascended to heaven, His disciples suffered much persecution; some of them were even killed for the sake of the gospel. However, they are still living unto Christ because Jesus Christ has not considered them dead. The just shall live by faith (Romans 1:17). You can live as long forever in Christ Jesus. In Christ Jesus, there is no limit to life on Earth. The question is, why do you need more years on Earth? If it is because you need more years to do the good work God has assigned to you, He will be glad to give you countless years to live here on Earth. He wants to see you use the life He has given you to bless lives and make life more meaningful to others.
