One of the lies of the enemy tells us is that God is disappointed and He is mad. This creates fear in us to come boldly to the Father and be embraced by His love. The enemy wants to sow seed of rejection in our heart that we may not fully walk in who we really are – a son and daughter of God. But Jesus tells us in John 6:37 that those whom the Father has given Him, He will never reject!
God is never disappointed or mad at you to the point of rejection. When a child makes a mistake, he or she does not lose his position in the family as a child. He is still part of the family! It’s the same with God – you are still his child and He loves you with an everlasting love that He paid for your sins with the precious blood of His only Son Jesus Christ. His love for you as His child is eternal and everlasting.
So as you pray to the Heavenly Father, declare your righteousness in Christ Jesus and thank the Father for His great love and acceptance towards you. Thank Him that He will never reject you because of what Jesus Christ has already paid for. It was Him who has drawn you to Jesus that you may receive salvation and spiritual blessings and inheritances. Praise Him and magnify Him for His goodness!
