How To Be Saved Prayer

As you have decided to accept (How to Pray to Accept Jesus Christ) Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, and you want to know how to be saved, it is good that you are here looking for a prayer on how to do just that. You are right in accepting Jesus Christ into your life because salvation is found in no one else but Christ Jesus. Romans 10:9-10 says, “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart, man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.”

As Romans 10:9-10 says, you must confess with your mouth that Jesus Christ is Lord and believe that God raised Him from the dead. If you do that, you will be saved. Here is a prayer of salvation:

Heavenly Father, thank You for the life of Jesus Christ. He alone can save me, for He alone is righteous. I confess that Jesus Christ is my Lord and my Savior. I believe that He came to rescue me and save me from my sins, which is why He died on the cross and then rose again to life. I am now a child of God through Christ, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Heavenly Father, thank You for the life of Jesus Christ. He alone can save me, for He alone is righteous.

How To Be Saved Prayer

You will never regret receiving and confessing Jesus Christ into your life. He is the greatest Friend, Family, Lover, and Lord you could ever imagine. You will never be the same again as you wholeheartedly receive Him and follow Him all the days of your life here on Earth.

You have become a new creation in Him, and all the old things have passed away. Praise and glory be to the Father!

“Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new” 2 Corinthians 5:17.

Heavenly Father, thank You for the life of Jesus Christ. He alone can save me, for He alone is righteous.

How To Be Saved Prayer

After confessing Jesus Christ in my life, am I saved?

As the Scripture says in Romans 10:9-10, by confessing Jesus Christ, you shall be saved. Thus, you must believe God’s Word with your heart and mind and not doubt.

Truly believing and having a relationship with Jesus Christ after receiving and confessing Him shows that you are indeed saved by faith. While it can seem absurd that our salvation is only achieved by believing in Jesus Christ and not by anything else we do, that is how the grace of God works for all people. Religion has taught this world that the way to be approved by God and reach heaven is by doing good. However, that is not what the Scripture says.

Ephesians 2:8-9 says, “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.”

Heavenly Father, thank You for the life of Jesus Christ. He alone can save me, for He alone is righteous.

How To Be Saved Prayer

It is only by having faith in Jesus Christ and the things He has done in our lives that we can truly be saved.

We have been used to doing certain things, such as making an effort in order to gain something, namely salvation because that is how this world works. However, that is not God’s way. If we are going to be saved by giving to charity, sending large donations to help the poor, or making sacrifices, what about the poor who don’t have the money to give donations; think about the people with disabilities who can’t make any more sacrifices for others or the children who are still dependent on others to thrive.

Anything that can allow someone to boast before God, He discredited by sending His only Begotten Son, Jesus Christ, as the only path to our salvation. Jesus Christ is the only answer and the only key for us to be saved. He alone is righteous, innocent, pure and blameless before God. He fulfilled every law that man can’t.

Romans 3:23-25 says, “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God”

Such is the marvelous grace from our Heavenly Father, who truly desires for all men to be saved through Jesus Christ, the greatest gift for all to receive.

How can I be assured of my salvation through Christ Jesus?

Salvation doesn’t stop with you confessing Jesus Christ and saying a prayer of salvation. The Bible says that we must work out the gift of salvation that we have received by faith in Christ Jesus. Philippians 2:12 says, “Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.”

We know that the enemy is perpetually trying to take the believers out in the race of faith by inputting doubt in the Word of God and lack of faith in God. To be assured of one’s salvation in Christ Jesus, you must always put on the whole armor of God in order to deflect the schemes and expose the lies of the enemy. Ephesians 6:11-12 says, “Put on the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.” The enemy wants you to doubt your salvation in Christ Jesus, but when your mind is filled with the Word of God, as you constantly seek Him and His Word and set your affections on things above, doubt has no place in your heart.

As you have received Jesus Christ and His promise of eternal life by faith, make Him the greatest delight of your heart. As Jesus Christ becomes the delight of your heart, your mind will become fixed upon Him, and the thought of going to hell or the question of being saved or not won’t even matter because you have found the One who truly matters.
