The words of Jesus in John 16:33 reassures us that even though we may face trials and difficulties in this world, we can have peace knowing that He has already overcome this world.

Lord Jesus, thank You for overcoming the world and for being my biggest strength and inspiration. I have peace knowing that You have overcome the world, and You alone can relate to what I am going through. I don’t have to be afraid when I have You cheering me on in Jesus’ name. Amen.

4. Isaiah 43:2

“When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.”

Whenever you feel like you are passing through a difficult season in life, remember that God promises in Isaiah 43:2 that nothing shall harm and overcome you for He is with you. This scripture makes a great prayer to give you peace despite your situation.
