Childlike Faith Prayer

Mat 7:7-11

Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened. Or what man is there of you, whom if his son ask bread, will he give him a stone? Or if he ask a fish, will he give him a serpent? If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?

Jesus taught us to pray to God as our Father and we come before Him like children. For prayers to be effective, all it takes is a childlike faith. Simply ask the Father what you want and He will give it to you. If you seek for healing, financial breakthrough, or a deeper relationship with God, keep on seeking until you find it for those who seek shall find! And if you are knocking on doors of opportunity to be opened, or if you are knocking for justice to be given into your case, simply keep on knocking and it shall be opened. Have you ever observed how children hold on to a promise made to them? They expect to receive it and they keep on reminding their parents about it over and over again, that’s how our Father would want each one of us to become before His presence. And if evil people know how to give good gifts to their children, how much more our heavenly Father to those who would come and ask, seek and knock unto him? Become like a little child before the Father and simply rely on His faithfulness in answering your prayers. And remember, God does not look at you and love you the way your earthly parents or anyone in the world does – His love for you is far greater that He gave His only Begotten Son to die for your sins. Come to the Father for His arms are wide open for you.
