The God of the universe is a holy God and does not trifle with His holiness. Thus, all sins are primarily against God, so when you sin, never try to cover it. Ask God to forgive you and repent from your sin to find rest for your soul. When you cover your sins, you are opening doors for the devil and his cohort of darkness to operate in your life. Before long, they will begin to destroy you and extend it to your family (2 Samuel 12–15. Living a holy life produces quietness, peace, confidence, and strength for successful Christian living.
