Jesus Christ has cautioned His children to be as wise as the serpent and as harmless as the dove. You need the wisdom of God to live and run the Christian race. There are many days in a Christian’s life: the days of peace, joy, prosperity, and healing as well as an evil day. This evil day is the day that the devil and his cohorts of darkness have been planning all this while to get you. They are looking for the slightest opportunity to unleash their venom on you. This is why you need to prepare against this day with the whole armor of God. This includes the belt of truth, breastplate of righteousness, boot of the preparation of the gospel of peace, shield of faith, helmet of salvation, and sword of the Spirit (Ephesians 6:14–17). Any of the armor that is lacking is a door the enemy can use to get you, so don’t compromise on any of them since these will enable you to overcome your evil day. Praise the Lord!
