Your Confession Determines Your Future

Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession. Hebrews 4:14 (KJV)

Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession. Hebrews 4:14 (KJV)

The Word of God wants us to be conscious of our great high priest and his work; Jesus Christ is our great high priest and He is ever present to bring to pass our confessions.  Our Word base confessions are very important to him. Daily we should speak faith filled words into our lives and every situation we encounter and see Christ Jesus fulfill them.  The above scripture also exhorts us to press on with our confessions. There are some Christians who feel like giving up their confessions but the scripture says they should hold fast their declarations for surely Jesus is looking on those words to do them. When you speak or declare the Word of God to your life or to a specific situation it is similar to sowing a seed in the ground; we believe it will germinate even though we don’t know how. Even so when we make our confessions we should believe they will come to pass and we shall see the results. Our high priest is always interceding for us and we must trust him to do his work. Dear beloved, do you believe in confessions? How many times do you speak faith filled words to your life in a day?
