Indeed, we might not see and touch God physically, but our faith reminds us every day that He is real and that He loves us.

Almost everyone is familiar with John 3:16 which says, “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have an eternal life.” We are taught in the Bible that the author and the perfector of love gave Himself to redeem us from the horrible snares of sin (Romans 5:8). Jesus willingly laid down His life for His sheep, for His friends (John 15:13). And if Jesus loved us, we also ought to love one another (1 John 4:11).

Loving God means loving people. You cannot love God without loving people. Our love toward our neighbor is an indicator that the God of love is in our hearts. The best thing we can do today is read and meditate on Bible verses about loving God and people. Let us speak and act upon it. If we love God, then we should keep His commands (John 14:15). Clearly, one of the greatest commands He has given us is to love people. If we truly love Him, let us live by faith and continue to do what God has commanded.
