Imitate God!

As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us. Psalms 103:12

As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us. Psalms 103:12

Our God is a great God. He loves righteousness and hates sin. Because of the love He has for His children, He promotes them when they live in righteousness. However, He judges and punishes them for their sins. When King David committed adultery with Bathsheba and then murdered her husband, God judged him for the sin he had committed (2 Samuel 12–14). God does forgive sin, but the consequences of the sin still need to be borne by the sinner. When He forgives, He does not remember it anymore, and this is what He wants His children to learn from Him. Dear beloved, let us learn to easily forgive one another and also learn to forget, even though forgetting peoples’ wrongs may take some time. If we make a conscious effort to forget and ask for grace to forget, we may eventually forget and be healed by God. Hallelujah! Share your comments here!
