The relationship that a child of God has with Him is a call to faith. We can never do anything fruitful with God without first walking with Him in faith. Faith simply means counting on the Word of God at all times without relying on our human senses or feelings. Everything we do must be based on faith; in other words, we must have the Holy Scriptures to support every action we take. When we pray, we must use the Word of God. After prayer, our thoughts should continually be filled with His Word so that we can talk the Word. This is very important because when we ask God anything based on His Word, He hears us, but if we contradict what we have asked by doubting through complaining and negative speech, then we are short-circuiting the power of God that is already in motion to release the answer to us.
