How To Pray For Texas

Texas is known for its distinct qualities as compared to its neighboring states. Aside from being located in the south and having a warm climate, Texas is known to be a conservative state. It is also known as a state where many special forces and elite US military soldiers have come from. Given its conservative stance, values, and traditions are still upheld that are contrary to other liberal states.

Father in heaven, I pray for the state of Texas that the conservative values and traditions it holds won’t just remain for the sake of holding values and traditions, but people will see the purpose and meaning of why their Christian forefathers instilled those values and traditions. You can pray for Texas by praying for the things that are unique to Texas, like high gun ownership, its conservative views, being prone to hurricanes, and many more. In a sense, those are Texas’ specific or unique needs and, therefore, something you can pray about. You can also say general prayers regardless of the state, country, or people. For example, praying for the Gospel to proliferate, for an awakening to happen in the hearts of the people of Texas, for Christians in Texas to be bold in preaching the Gospel, for economic prosperity, a good government, and many more.
