An Arthritic’s Prayer

Sickness and diseases like arthritis never come from God. It is not His will for our bodies to be stricken with illness. John 10:10 says, “The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.” Such illness is the enemy’s work in our lives. However, God can use this circumstance as a chance for us to know Him and experience the power of the Kingdom of God, such as being healed in the name of Jesus.

In the mighty name of Jesus, I rebuke arthritis!

An Arthritic’s Prayer

Here is an example of a prayer against arthritis:

In the mighty name of Jesus, I rebuke arthritis! I command you to leave! I speak and declare life and restoration upon the bones, joints, ligaments, and all the systemic functions of my body, in Jesus’ name! Amen.

By praying in this manner, with authority and faith in the name of Jesus, Satan loses his grip, and healing comes because it is the will of God to bring healing in Christ Jesus.

How can I heal myself from arthritis?

You are here because you are battling arthritis. Firstly, you should know that arthritis has no right over your body because Jesus Christ already paid for it on the cross. Isaiah 53:5 says, “But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities. The chastisement for our peace was upon Him. And by His stripes we are healed.” Jesus Christ sacrificed His life for you so that you may be healed.

Now that you know this, the enemy must already be trembling, as he has been caught! He had been doing whatever he wanted in your life until you realized that you have no right to be sick, since Jesus has paid for it on the cross.

Healing usually takes place when you know who you are and whose you are. You are a child of God, and you belong to the Kingdom of Light in Christ Jesus. Illnesses are not part of God’s Kingdom, but healing, deliverance, salvation, and restoration are the business of the Father. Mindset plays a significant role here, and the more you allow fears and worries into your mind, the more that diseases like arthritis can flare up and worsen. It is important that you spend time meditating on the Word of God and soaking in His promises, as His Word brings health and healing to the bones (see Proverbs 3:7-8).

How do you pray against pain?

It can be overwhelming when you are experiencing terrible pain in your body. It affects the way you feel, the way you perceive life, and may cause negativity in your mind. However, you must not let your body control you. Instead, you must take control of your body by renewing your mind with the Word of God. If the enemy comes to kill, steal and destroy (see John 10:10), including your health, your sleep, your peace of mind, or your ability to perform day-to-day activities, Jesus said that you have the authority to trample on every work of the enemy (Luke 10:19).

An Arthritic’s Prayer

When arthritic pains attack, rebuke them and cast them out of your life through the authority and power of Christ Jesus. Treat arthritis as an enemy and say, “I rebuke you, arthritis! Leave my body right now, in the name of Jesus!” Say it with authority and let the devil hear that he must leave.

In the Bible, many people were stricken with illnesses, but Jesus healed them all. He even raised people from the dead. And He who heals is the same Person yesterday and today. He came to destroy all the devil’s works, which included sickness.

You must believe that there is power in the name of Jesus. His name is above every name, including arthritis! Also, you must take care of your body and be sure to eat healthy foods. We glorify God in Christ Jesus when we take care of our bodies!

What is a good healing prayer?

One of the best ways to pray for healing is by declaring God’s Word of Promise. We know that His Word does not return void, and He is faithful to fulfill His Word.

For example:

Psalm 91:9-10

Because you have made the Lord, who is my refuge, even the Most High, your dwelling place, no evil shall befall you nor shall any plague come near your dwelling…

Declaring the Scripture:

In Jesus’ name, no evil shall befall me nor any plague come near my house because the LORD is my refuge, and the Most High is my dwelling place!

Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the Lord, and depart from evil. It shall be health to thy navel, and marrow to thy bones.
