It is Christ who Lives in You

“My old self has been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me. So I live in this earthly body by trusting in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.”

Gal. 2:20

When you receive Jesus Christ in your life, you become a new person—the old has gone and the new has come. Your every selfish desire and craving for self-exaltation has died, because the very purpose of this new life is to instead exalt Jesus Christ. However, the enemy is still there, doing his very best to influence you to walk in your old nature—selfish, self-righteous, and prideful before God—when you are faced with difficult circumstances in life. Thankfully, you are no longer that person! God has called you out of the darkness and you have become a light of this world! The light of Christ is inside you now and you are destined to manifest that to the world, together with the Holy Spirit. You don’t have to believe the lies of the enemy or live under his influence, because Christ has set you free and you have been given authority and power over the enemy! It is no longer you who live, but Christ who lives in you! When you face difficult situations and difficult people, know that Christ is in you and that He will empower you to walk in your new identity as a child of God who is loved and cherished by the heavenly Father.

As you come to God in prayer, thank Him for this new life you now have in Christ Jesus. Thank Him for calling you out of the darkness and ensuring that you no longer live in your old ways. Christ Jesus now lives in you and you are called to change the world, together with the Holy Spirit. Give praise and glory to God, who made you His child and called you to live in His Kingdom.
