Sometimes, the enemy can trick us into thinking that we can’t hear God, that the Father is disappointed in you and has abandoned you, that you are all alone, that nobody cares and supports you, that there’s no hope for you anymore, and that your future is ruined. You can clearly see that the enemy’s voice discourages you from walking with God and hinders your progress in Christ Jesus.
But 1 Corinthians 2:16 says that you have the mind of Christ. When such discouraging thoughts come into your mind, remember the Word of God—you have the mind of Christ! Christ Jesus lives inside you and He will never leave you! His Spirit in you gives you access to the heart of the Father, who loves you, cares for you and has marvelous plans for your life and future.
You may have had a bad day or made a mistake, but that doesn’t change who you are in Christ, that doesn’t change who God is towards you, and that doesn’t determine your future! God remains faithful, even when we are unfaithful. As you come to God in prayer, simply thank Him for allowing Christ Jesus to live in you and share His mind. You have the mind of Christ and nothing can stop you from fulfilling the plans and purposes of God in your life!
