Father in heaven, give me the grace to always make sure that my friendships honor You. I pray that the friendships I have with my fellow brothers and sisters in Christ will set a good example for unbelievers of what real friendship is. I pray that I can use our friendship to preach Christ to them. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
Father in heaven, I thank You for blessing me with my foster family, which loves me and cares for me as well as sees me as one of their own. Thank You for leading me to them and placing me under their care. Thank You for looking after me, Father, and for being gracious and merciful to me. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
God commanded us to pray to Him. One of the things we should pray to God for is the well-being of our fellow brothers and sisters in Christ. In other words, as Christians, we are called to pray for fellow believers. That is one of the reasons why a Christian should be part of a church community. It is a means that God has ordained for us to receive grace.
If we are wondering whether a fellow brother or sister in Christ needs prayer, what we can do is simply ask them. That is the only definite way for us to know if they need prayers and what the things are that we can pray for them. There are many different scenarios and ways for you to ask your fellow brothers and sisters in Christ what they need.
The purpose of praying while you eat breakfast is to thank God. You thank God for the breakfast that you are about to eat. But when you thank God, you don’t just thank God because of the breakfast. You thank God because He has been faithful towards you and your family and that His love is steadfast.
A Christian, being a work in progress, may find himself or herself in a season where they are struggling to have a consistent prayer life. Recognizing that you are neglecting your prayer life and repenting from it is a good start.
