A Declaration Prayer for a Job

Having a job is one of God’s greatest blessings in life. However, it can be challenging to find jobs, especially during these pandemic times and in countries facing economic struggles, high rates of poverty, and unemployment. But don’t worry because while you are searching and applying for jobs, God will continuously provide for you and your family’s needs. Jesus said in Matthew 6:25-26 not to worry about basic needs such as food, clothing, drinks, etc., for if the Heavenly Father feeds the birds that do not even work, how much more will He do for you who is so precious to Him? So, as you search and apply for a job, take it as an opportunity to pray and declare for a God-given job. As you pray without ceasing, God will surely answer your prayers in His perfect time and ways. As long as you don’t give up praying, you will witness God’s faithfulness in the area of your profession. You can pray for a Declaration Prayer for a Job in this manner:

How do I pray during unemployment?

Being unemployed can be a frustrating situation. It can hinder you from so many things because the world works according to monetary values. And the basic needs, wants, and comforts that you desire for yourself, your family, and even those you wish to help are compromised due to a lack of finances. But praise be to God, Who is a good Heavenly Father Who knows all our needs before we even ask. God knows that you are right now looking for a job and seeking a prayer for this job in the hope of His answer.

How then can you pray to God about unemployment? Jesus said in Matthew 7:7, “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.”  Ask God to give you your dream job. Keep on seeking that job, and you will find it. Keep on knocking on doors of employment until God’s divine employers open the door for you. Don’t give up on the process. It sometimes takes time to find that job you really want, but don’t lose hope. God has already prepared the best job for you—to simply continue to trust in Him and live the principle of Matthew 7:7.

Here is a prayer based on Jeremiah 29:11, a scripture about God’s wonderful plan for your life and your future:

Heavenly Father, thank You that Your plans for me are good. You never intend to bring me harm but make me prosper in all things. I have a bright future ahead and many hopes in Christ Jesus even as I continuously ask, seek, and knock for my divine job. I surrender this desire to You, and I trust You with my heart in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Heavenly Father, thank You for Your faithfulness in my life.
