Praying for people is one of the best ways we can express our love, honor, and gratitude for their lives, as we come before the presence of the LORD on the birthday of a precious soul. We want God to be a part of that person’s life because we know that He is the Source of life and goodness.

Here is an example of a birthday prayer for him:

Heavenly Father, thank You for another year of life and another year of celebrating the birthday of a precious soul. I am thankful for his life, which is a great blessing and a gift to me and those around him. I pray that You continuously shower him with Your love, blessings, honor, and favor for the rest of the year, and may Your presence be tangible in his life wherever he goes in Jesus’ name. Amen.  

Birthdays are an excellent opportunity to let your love be known, for the celebrant to feel special, and most importantly, to demonstrate the love and faithfulness of God. It can be a good way to share a scripture for encouragement, wisdom, and reminder of God’s promises. You can say it verbally, through a handwritten letter, with a video presentation, from a collage of pictures with texts, and so on. You can get creative as you share how special and precious he is to you.

How do I pray to a man of God on his birthday?

Whether you are praying for him physically face-to-face, at a distance, or in your private room, you can begin by thanking the Heavenly Father for him and for His faithfulness in adding another year to celebrate his birthday. The Holy Spirit may even let you remember some of your best memories with him, and you can also thank God for that. Then declare good things to come upon his life in the name of Jesus. 

Sometimes as you pray, the Holy Spirit will put in your mind a Bible verse or scripture about God’s promises. You can also pray those and declare them in the name of Jesus. Be led by the Spirit in your prayers and know that they are powerful because you are praying to the most powerful Being, your Heavenly Father in Christ Jesus.

Heavenly Father, I thank You for the life of (his name), for being faithful to him throughout the years, and for adding another year to his life. You never leave nor forsake him, and I glorify You upon his life. As he steps into another chapter of his life, I declare more favors, opportunities in Christ, blessings, and unwavering faith in Your Word and Your Name throughout the coming year of his life. May his health prosper just as his soul prospers in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Heavenly Father, I thank You for another year to celebrate the birthday of (his name). Thank You for Your unfailing love, mercy, and grace upon his life. May You bless him, keep him, and make Your face shine upon his life evermore in Jesus’ name. Amen.

You can pray for him by laying your hands on him if you are meeting him and able to attend his birthday celebration. You can say a prayer through a handwritten letter or make a video/phone call to express what you want to tell him. You can be extra creative in expressing your birthday prayers for him. As the birthday of your special one approaches, you may be thrilled or anxious when thinking of ways to surprise him and make him feel special on his birthday. Don’t worry, because whatever you do, as long as you put your whole heart into it, your boyfriend will feel it and appreciate it more than the words he may express. Love is always able to connect two hearts beating.

There are many ways to make your boyfriend feel special on his birthday. You can be creative, expressive, and true to yourself. Here are some examples of what you can do for his birthday:

1. You can surprise him by singing a song.

If you are confident with your singing skills, it can be extraordinary for him to hear the one he loves sing a song for him on his special day. Songs with great lyrics are like love letters expressed in melodies. 

2. If you are not confident with singing, you can play his favorite song in the background while reading your birthday letter to him.

One of the ways you can make him feel special is by reading him the letter you’ve written, along with fantastic background music that is either his favorite song or some instrumental of your choice. 

3. You can give him a collage of pictures of your memories placed on a beautiful frame, to display in his room or hang on the wall along with your letter. It can be extraordinary to receive photos of memories along with your message on them and to reminisce about moments with your special someone.

5. You can make a handwritten letter with creative designs, complete with cutouts of your photos together and your message on it. Your handwriting is unique in this world, and it can be extraordinary for your boyfriend to receive a handwritten birthday card on his special day.
